Bigfoot Tavern, located at 136851 US-97 in Crescent, Oregon, is a hidden gem that truly captures the essence of a classic bar experience. With friendly service and a cozy atmosphere, this tavern offers an impressive menu that includes their signature Bigfoot Burger and an array of hearty sandwiches and salads. Reviews have consistently praised their food, particularly the burgers and smoked brisket. Maxine Addington raved about the excellent Big Foot Burger paired with thick-cut fries, highlighting the friendly service that makes every visit memorable. Allan Ng echoed similar sentiments, calling the brisket some of the best he's ever tasted, with an irresistible smokiness that left a lasting impression. The French Dip, described by Beth H as perfectly grilled with rich flavors enhanced by melted Swiss cheese, showcases the attention to detail that the owners put into their dishes. Customers also appreciate the fresh, well-seasoned salads, like the Chef's and House options. Overall, Bigfoot Tavern is more than just a place to grab a bite—it's a community hub where locals gather for great food and craft brews. Whether you’re passing through or enjoying a leisurely afternoon, this tavern promises a delightful dining experience in a welcoming setting. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return.

I’m no expert on barbecue, but i think it’s fair to say that this was some of the best smoked brisket I’ve ever had. Not only was it extremely tender, it was more than just good tasting meat, you could definitely taste the smokiness. I also highly recommend getting the clam chowder on the side; again, probably some of the best I’ve had, and loaded with clam meat. Lastly the service was fantastic; the owners couldn’t be more friendly.

Visiting Bend. Drove south to Crater Lake on Monday and on our way back home stopped here around 1:30 for lunch. 1) French dip had melted Swiss and a nice char to the onions. Bread was lightly buttered and grilled. Combination of all with the meat was excellent when dipped in the au jus. The Cole slaw is mayonnaise based and was 2 days old. Allows the flavor to really set in. Would definitely get this combo again. 2) Big Foot burger was cooked medium with cheddar cheese. There are cheese options. Condiments were brought to the table and had been in the refrigerator, so nice and cold. Love it when restaurants do this! Burger had great flavor. Side of freshly made potato salad was also excellent. Couple that run this place are very nice and work hard. Also, very clean bathrooms.

Sometimes it’s fun to stop in a small town and try the local pub and grub which is what we did here at the Big Foot Tavern! We stopped in for lunch on a Thursday and received a friendly greeting and service. There was one young lady who did it all including cooking the food. My grilled chicken sandwich was delicious, the breast was well seasoned and tender, the bun and veges were fresh. I chose a side salad and it fresh as well. Hubby was happy with his French dip with a side of tots (just ok). The atmosphere was eclectic and fun, we enjoyed reading all of the signage. Many locals came in for lunch and the gal continued her upbeat and prompt service. I recommend this place for good grub and a nice selection of brews.

Being from out-of-state I simply had to stop here as I was driving through! We only had beer but the selection was great, they were featuring brews from 10 Barrel. I almost fell off the barstool when I was told they were 4 each! Loved the vintage atmosphere in a truly Western town, this was a one-of-a-kind place.
